Reached via winding mountain roads, only one hour drive East of Málaga Airport and 25 minutes from the coast, Cómpeta is a huddle of brilliant white houses tumbling down the mountainside, surrounded by vineyards. A Moorish settlement in origin, Cómpeta is now famous for its wine, friendly Spanish atmosphere and the beautiful mountains surrounding it. Competa benefits from a good range of modern facilities. As well as the municipal market and swimming pool there are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from, shops of every kind, banks and legal services and a number of small businesses providing everything from therapies to works of art. This beautiful spacious villa of approximately 140 sq mtrs. is set in the countryside of Competa and enjoys a good deal of privacy but is not isolated. The villa comprises of an entrance hall, which takes you in to a very large lounge/dining room with wood burning stove and air conditioning. Off the lounge is an office/study. Adjacent to the dining area is a modern fully fitted kitchen. There are three double sized bedrooms (two with a/con.) and all have doors that open on to different terraces. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite and there is a master bathroom. Externally the gardens and terraces surround a lovely curve shaped pool with lots of space for sunbathing Bbq’s etc. The views to the mountains are stunning. Must be viewed to be appreciated.
