Area description

Quesada is approached from Alicante airport via the Mediterranean Highway (A-7) and N-340, or via the N-332 which takes in towns and villages lying along the coast. Sheltered by the Crevillente mountain range, the region boasts a unique moderate climate, averaging temperatures between 12-19 C in winter and 24-38 C in summer. The old Spanish town of Guardamar is 10 minutes drive and has excellent sporting facilities for windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and jet-skiing etc. at the Marina's nautical club. There is also an outstanding sports complex for tennis, basketball, football etc., and an Olympic swimming pool. Guardamar boasts 11 kms of dunes and sandy beaches, and the enormous 'Queen Sofia' Park to enjoy a quiet stroll through it's botanical gardens. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, but it still retains a typical Spanish air and is a very popular holiday resort for Spaniards also. Along the coastal road, north of Guardamar, is the fishing port and marina of Santa Pola, with boat excursions to the island of Taberca and its underwater nature reserve. Larger towns such as Elche and the cities of Alicante and Murcia are within easy reach for shopping or exploring. The bustling town of Torrevieja is also about 10 - 15 minutes drive and also has stretches of golden sandy beaches, esplanade, large marina and numerous international restaurants and bars. For the young at heart there are clubs, music bars and foam parties for the nightlife. As well as being a fishing and trading port, Torrevieja is renowned for the La Mata and Torrevieja salt lagoons, now listed as a natural park. It is well visited for its therapeutic mud baths, pink flamingos and other species of wildlife There are numerous fiestas throughout the year (listed in our information folder) and daily street markets located around the area.

 

Property Description

This is a lovely 2 bed / 1 bath house on the prestigious Dona Pepa urbanisation, with private community pool, showers and toddler pool set in gardened area. Supermarket, bank, restaurants and bars within immediate vicinity (5 min walk), and Quesada village 5min drive for numerous shops, bars, restaurants, Aqua Park, Country Club, and La Marquesa Golf Club The prestigious urbanisation of Dona Pepa, Ciudad Quesada is a 30 minute drive from Alicante or Murcia airports, and served by excellent road networks. Situated on the edge of the Natural Park with therapeutic salt lakes, Quesada is 10 minutes from the beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches of Guardamar and Torrevieja, and home to La Marquesa Golf Club and Aqua Park. Four other championship golf clubs within a 20 minute range, including Villamartin and La Finca, and La Manga is 45 minutes drive south. Terra Mitica theme park 1 hour drive north. Ideal family holiday location for sun, sea, watersports, golf, or simply relaxing.

USE OF LATEST INDUCTION AIR-CONDITIONING AND OTHER SERVICE CHARGES (ELECTRICITY, WATER ETC) IS INCLUDED IN RENTAL PRICE.( small surcharge of 10€ for late meet and greet between 23:00 and 08:00hrs payable to housekeeper) 40€ IS REQUIRED FOR CLEANING AND LAUNDRY AND PAYABLE TO HOUSEKEEPER ON ARRIVAL PLEASE. A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival date. A £100 key/damage deposit is required along with the balance, and will be refunded after satisfactory inspection of the house within 2 weeks of departure. Please report any damage to our housekeeper, or small breakages can be replaced with similar item eg. crockery or glasses. Long term rental is available for those waiting to own Spanish property, or wanting to escape British winters! Short term (less than a week) is also available for property inspection trips etc. A welcome pack is available on request. If baby equipment is required, such as cot etc, this can be pre-booked and awaiting your arrival For Long term rental please e-mail for rates. A 40€ per week supplement is added for Christmas/New Year and Easter.
